Apartment #8!

Here it is! Our eighth apartment in five years! That makes a grand total of 11 apartments in the 11 years we’ve been together, but who’s counting?

This is going to be one long picture post, so bear with me.

Here we have the empty apartment:

That was the state of the place a few weeks before we moved. The following week, we went back to clean and had some IKEA furniture delivered so Chris could assemble it before move day:

Now, the place after the movers (Divine Movers – we highly recommend them, having used them three times now) left us with all the unpacking to do:

GORGEOUS!

It only took six days to put everything away and get our home set up. Not our best record (we only took three days to unpack a Chicago shoebox of an apartment in ‘06), but this was pretty darn good, if I say so myself!
