WI bugs and such

This is a slow blogging week (month). I’ve got some pics of bugs that I know you’ll love, as well as a couple of pictures from the Little Farmer.

Here are the insects who crashed our lunch at the park in Fond du Lac:

I know that the first one was a wasp, but I don’t know what the other bug was. I put a couple of pictures up here in case anyone out there can identify it. The closest I’ve come is Squash Bug, Assassin Bug, Kissing Bug, and Conenose Bug, which are all basically the same bug with different names. I’m leaning toward Conenose, as I found a picture that looked like it. I believe they are mainly found in California, but if this bug was any of those that I mentioned, I’m glad my dad didn’t get bit by it since it is a bloodsucker which landed on him and I let it crawl all over his shirt while I tried taking pictures of it before he flung it onto the picnic table. Nice daughter, huh? All for a picture.

Ick – now I’m creeping myself out. Let’s move on.

Here are cute pictures of goats!

That’s better.

Now, a bunch of signs from the Little Farmer. There were many more posted, but I only took pictures of these:

We also went through a corn maze which we thought would be a breeze until we couldn’t find our way out after two minutes. That’s the point though, isn’t it?

Oh, and we mustn’t forget the geese, which is one of my favorite parts of October:
