Take me out to the ballgame …

A Yankee game, to be exact! We went to our first Yankee game last Saturday. Chris had gotten tickets from a person at work who couldn’t go, so we went!

Not like we weren’t all cheering for the awesome grand slam by Jorge Posada:

The footlong hotdogs we got were so messy, I forgot to take a picture before eating them:

After stuffing ourselves and waiting an inning or so, I went down for dessert:

After all that, we decided to head home. It was getting cold out and I didn’t bring my sweatshirt (even though I thought to … ). I looked into buying a sweatshirt, but the cheapest one was $50 and not very special (other sweatshirt prices ranged from $85-$110), so I opted not to. Plus, we spent almost $100 on food, so it was time to go.

On our way out, we stopped behind the bleacher seats and shot this pic:

Not bad, considering the prices for those seats are between $5–$15 (we paid $22 each where we sat, which wasn’t bad at all).

All in all, a very enjoyable time. I’d do it again! :)

GO YANKEES!
